I graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic. I am registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and am a professional member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
Prior to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), I enjoyed a 19 year career in pensions and investments and enjoyed working closely with individual investors, corporations and investment managers. Sitting at a desk for almost two decades gave me tight hips and a chronically sore back and had me searching for a second career away from a computer, which led me on the path to become formally trained as a RMT.
I enjoy working with my patients to understand and achieve their goals using traditional Swedish Massage Techniques, Massage Cups, Fascial Stretch, Hydrotherapy, Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilizations and Therapeutic Exercise. I have experience with treating sports-related injuries, postural imbalances, specific injuries including sprains, strains, tendonitis, headaches, lower back and neck pain. In addition to loving my RMT career I also enjoy travel, running, lifting heavy things and being a new dog owner.
